Trichoscan Analysis

Pilogics recommends the use of objective, well-known hair-growth evaluation systems such as Trichoscan. TrichoScan® HD system was developed by DermoScan GmbH of Regensburg in Germany, in close cooperation with Prof. Rolf Hoffmann. It performs analysis of hair growth status automatically. Measuring the hair status before and after the treatment period shows the actual change in various parameters, such as:

• Total density of hairs
• Density of terminal (thick and visible) hair
• Growth phases (anagen-telogen ratio)

Often, improvement of hair growth is noticed first via such measurements. It is important to follow proper procedures when comparing measurements.
